A journey into the heart of Goretti: our Sales Department

Today we have a new chapter of our story for you, dedicated to the departments that make Goretti truly unique. After exploring the creativity of Estrò Lab – our Style Department – and the technical expertise of the pattern department, today we will be exploring another strategic area: the sales Department, the starting point of many of our projects.

While the fashion and accessories markets are constantly evolving, here at Goretti we build relationships, anticipate trends and lay the foundations for projects that last over time. Our sales team does not merely answer customers’ questions, it goes the extra mile: it listens, interprets what it hears and turns it into tangible solutions, guiding every interlocutor along the project process.

The thread holding a relationship, project and production together

At Goretti, every customer has a dedicated contact person: a professional who follows the entire project cycle, from the creative proposal to prototyping, all the way to the final production stage. This type of work requires vision and great problem-solving skills.

Our team adopts a fully-fledged project management approach, planning and overseeing every single stage. Most importantly, however, it swiftly responds to make any adjustments when something unexpected happens.

This is complemented by our ongoing presence on the ground. We meet our customers directly in their offices, wherever they may be, to share ideas, samples and materials. This approach enables us to take on together the seasonal demands and trends related to each brand’s style and identity. This way we can offer solutions that are up to date and follow the schedule of their style, research and development departments.

And then the fairs: precious opportunities to turn digital relationships into face-to-face interactions, to exchange ideas and find new opportunities.

The value that comes from seeing the product in person

Our sales team is not only the customers’ first interlocutor: it is also a careful, engaged observer of everything that happens within the company.

Thanks to the constant dialogue with the pattern department and the exchanges with the production department, every member of the team has also received proper technical training. This enables us to provide tangible solutions that take into account the materials’ characteristics, the production time needed and the opportunities offered by the available technology.

Every week we organise briefing sessions with the departments: through these discussions we exchange visions, discuss issues and identify new synergies.

The collection samples too become a cross-functional tool: a story that is shared between all departments, which enables the sales team to always offer ideas that are up to date and consistent with Goretti’s identity.

One interlocutor, many integrated skills

Working within a network of companies such as ours means being able to offer a wide range of skills and techniques, while keeping a single contact person for each customer.

Even with the most complex projects, our sales team coordinates the activities between the various players of the group – including Artelier’s weaves, Deadema’s metal components, Mabel’s plastic components or Goretti’s applied decorations – with good time and resource optimisation and clear, linear project management that is always guaranteed.

Our goal is always the same: to build lasting relationships that are based on trust, skills and being able to meet, and often anticipate, our customers’ needs.
