The first traces of 2026: shared moments and new directions

With the start of the new year, we at Goretti have our eyes set on what lies ahead: the next creative seasons, new projects and the various events we will take part in. First, however, we would like to take some time to talk about an event that is always an important milestone for us.

The Christmas company dinner marks the end of one cycle as well as the start of another: it’s an occasion to meet up, acknowledge the work we’ve done and thank those who’ve made it possible. The event was attended by employees and collaborators with whom we work every day, because to us work is about relationships, skills becoming intertwined and renewed trust.

A preview to kick off 2026: the theme of the SS 2027 collection

During the dinner we decided to offer a preview of the new theme chosen for the Spring/Summer 2027 collection. It wasn’t a pre-arranged announcement, but rather the start of a creative trajectory that will accompany us over the next seasons and that, as is often the case at Goretti, is bound to evolve.

The heart of our project is made up of the people in our team and their families. We’ve created a narrative that is shaped by our stories and, in particular, by the voices of our employees’ sons and daughters: with their free, creative minds, they played a key role in that inspiration. This is what creative research is all about to us: it’s not a single, isolated act, but rather a shared process based on listening to others and combining different perspectives.

A special guest, a place that shows who we are

The person who first initiated this process was Vittorio OndedeiAKA Ruben Camillas – who is an educator, artist and narrator. Thanks to his straightforward and engaging way of telling stories, he turned the presentation into an experience made of imagination, listening to one another and discovery.

The venue had to have a special meaning. The first part of the event was held at the Hoffmann Furnace Auditorium in Serra de’ Conti. The event then continued in the Ceremony Hall and the chimney of the furnace: a space that is rich in history, which we believe perfectly captures the idea of a shift between past and future, matter and transformation.

A way to be together: conviviality, care and gratefulness

After the presentation, the evening continued with more convivial activities, which are part of our way of being together. This year too featured the charity raffle, which we chose to dedicate to the LAPSUS – Diversa Creatività association, a group of artists from Senigallia with whom we’ve been working for a long time and with whom we share a certain idea of authentic and inclusive beauty.

It was also an opportunity to celebrate an important milestone: Laura’s retirement, after many years of work at Goretti. It was a simple, heartfelt occasion with much gratefulness. Because ending a year also means recognising the value of the people who shared it with us.

New year, new chapters

2026 has just begun and there many events await us, including trade fairs and projects we will be talking about step by step. In the meantime, we cherish what became apparent that evening: work is about skills, of course, but it’s above all about relationships, stories and being there.
