A new chapter within a broader system
2024 was a year of great changes and transformations for Goretti. It was a year that marked the start of a new path, as we joined the Minerva Hub group.

Being part of a larger, more structured group means engaging in a constant exchange, where different skills come together, research is fuelled by new ideas, and the future of the industry is built in an ever-more shared spirit. Together with us, the entire network of companies we work with has started exploring this new environment.
That’s how we came up with our new column idea: Meet our Minerva hub partners.
It’s a way to take a closer look at some of the companies that make up the group, highlight what sets them apart from the competition in terms of production techniques, the people, languages and techniques in these companies, as well as the value that can be created as different worlds meet.
Because we believe that working together does not just mean having a set of separate tasks. It means combining forms of knowledge, visions and opportunities to always have new project ideas to explore.
Minerva Hub: an ecosystem of diverse skills

The Minerva Hub currently comprises 25 companies. They are divided into Business Units and are in constant communication with one another, based on their activities and fields of expertise. They range from Precious Leather and Metal Accessories to Lady Shoes Components and Ornaments, the Business Unit Goretti is part of.
The group is made up of various identities, each with its history, style, specific expertise as well as mutual clients. The group’s diversity is what keeps the dialogue lively and productive. Projects are often developed in an integrated way, with different techniques intertwined around a shared goal.
Rather than a series of different companies, we see Minerva Hub as a place where dialogue results in tangible opportunities.
New and Best: technique, material and transformation
Our journey begins with New and Best, a company based in Barletta, in the province of Barletta Andria Trani, that joined Minerva Hub in 2023.
The company was founded in the 1980s and specialises in semi-finished products through techniques such as screen printing, high-frequency printing, injection and micro-injection. But just listing the techniques it employs is not enough. What sets it apart from the competition is that it can interpret an idea of style and turn it into material, texture, shapes and impressive effects: into something that is not just well made, but also recognisable.
Over the years, the company developed its solid and constantly evolving know-how, which it has honed through experience, research and a constant exchange of ideas with other brands. Those who choose New and Best do so because of its quality, fast responses and production processes, its ability to develop tailor-made products while maintaining high technical standards and constant creative and production support.
Moreover, this company constantly invests in innovation: new machinery, ever-more efficient processes, as well as more application options. At the same time, the company’s focus on sustainability leads to suitable, environmentally friendly materials, in line with an idea of development that is forward looking and compliant with the rules.
Today the company is exploring new fields, including furniture and interior design, leading its technical know-how into new design prospects.

When different skills meet
Over time, Goretti and New and Best have developed multiple shared projects for major clients and worked together to create Minerva samples, which were presented at various editions of Lineapelle.
This dialogue is constantly changing, one season after the other. A single theme leads to new ideas that are the result of technical and creative research stemming from a constant dialogue between different yet complementary companies.
In this exchange, the added value is not to be found in the final result but rather in the process: one skill can enhance another, one technique offers another new possibilities and a project grows thanks to multiple perspectives that help create it.

Working together to create new possibilities
To Goretti, working together means combining skills, ideas and techniques, thus generating synergies that enhance our applications and open new paths.
Our relationship with New and Best moves in this direction. It’s a collaboration that enables us to explore new fields, experiment, come up with more complex and increasingly contemporary ideas. We are sure that it will continue to generate innovative projects, as is the case with other companies of the Minerva Hub group.
Because the future, in our field as well as in any other, is increasingly becoming the result of different skills coming together.
