Ending well to start even better is the motto that guided Goretti in its transition from 2024 to 2025. The end of the year was an occasion to celebrate our success, enhance our bonds and eagerly prepare for future challenges.
A special farewell to Roberta, Vania and Loredana
The end of 2024 marked a historic moment for our company: for the first time, we said goodbye to three employees who have reached the milestone of retirement. This is a reason of pride for us, as it reflects the longevity of our activity and the value of our relationships, which evolved over time making us almost a family.
Before saying goodbye to them, we asked Roberta, Vania and Loredana to tell us something about their experience at Goretti.
Roberta
Time spent working for the company 42 years, I’ve been basically working here forever!
What I’m leaving behind: I hope I’m leaving a good memory of myself, as a friendly and respectful person.
What I’m taking with me: The people I’ve met, the reassuring feeling of always having given it my best, and the dear friendships I’ve made, even the ones that faded away over time.
Three adjectives that describe my journey in the company: Available, reliable, sometimes late.
Motto: On our own, we move fast. Together, we are even more effective.
Vania
Time spent working for the company: 12 years.
What I’m leaving behind: A piece of my heart, since I got along with everybody.
What I’m taking with me: The memory of my colleagues, the items we worked on together and the experiences we shared.
Three adjectives to describe my journey in the company: Satisfied, fulfilled, sometimes a little angry, but aware that not everything can always go well.
Motto: Work as if the company were yours and you will always achieve good results.
Loredana
Time spent working for the company: Almost 3 years.
What I’m leaving behind: The emotion of having created garments and samples for major brands and hoping to pass on my desire to grow to those who will take my place.
What I’m taking with me: Peace of mind, a wealth of expertise, and the memory of a nice relationship with my colleagues.
Three adjectives to describe my journey in the company: Multifaceted, creative, glowing.
Motto: It’s not where you work but who you work with that makes every day less stressful.
We bid a fond farewell to Roberta, Vania and Loredana and wish them all the best for their future!
The last ball before the holidays
The ‘Goretti Christmas Party’ is a long-standing tradition. On Friday 20th December we celebrated together a year of success and goals for the future.
The evening started with the sharing of our 2024 results and then continued with our traditional charity raffle. This year the raffle proceeds were donated to the A.R.C.A. foundation in Senigallia (in the province of Ancona). Since 2012, the organisation has been carrying out a valuable cultural and social project combining art, autism and mental disabilities. We are proud to have contributed to supporting their daily activities.
Cooking for colleagues
The party continued with music and dancing and, for the first time, the traditional buffet included products prepared during our company cooking classes.
In December some employees took part in three cooking courses held by two experts, Fabio Rezzuti and Agnese Rossetti, who taught them all the secrets of pastry-, chocolate-and bread-making with sourdough. The final results were shared during our company dinner, combining the pleasure of taste with the value of teamwork.
