Inspirations from Lineapelle: the four elements

fire

For the fire we thought to bright tones like fuchsia, intense red and finally yellow, like the heat generated by the sun. The materials are metal, painted leather and flaming feathers. To these materials we applied patches decorations sewn with shapes that remember the tongues of fire. Tongues of fire also recur in decorations with micro-studs applied on leather and applications of coloured rhinestones rivets. The flow of the flames is interpreted with coloured rivet rhinestones with vertical arrangement, all over with degradé motifs on the tones from red to yellow to orange. Sub-leather chains arranged in a radial pattern simulate the eruption of a volcano. Finally we were inspired by the sparkles using sequins made with leather.

air

For the air element we propose applications by heat transfer of stones or rhinestones on materials such as PVC, tulle and elastic nets, choosing pastel colours also for the edges of glazings. We worked these materials with the water cutting, embellishing them with ABS studs from veiled or transparent effect. PVC, rigorously transparent, comes alive with rhinestones chains of colours reminiscent of the northern lights. To the net we applied PVC flowers, as well as leather sequins and sewn stones. Making use of laser cutting and etching on leather we managed to create a kind of origami.

water

Our interpretation of the water element is based on the many nuances and hues of the seas and oceans colours from their water stormy motion to the crystal clear waters that lap onto the shores. The materials used are painted, metal and glitter leather, but also stones with rainbow nuances. Our proposals are enriched with iridescent heat transfer materials, heat transfers patches that simulate the aquatic environment, pearls with degradé effect reminiscent of the seabed, ABS studs with glitter paints, but also in the full colours of the seas, coloured crystals that refer to the inhabitants of the seas.

earth

For the earth element we imagined to recreate the animals kingdom that populates the terrestrial environment with materials such as pythons, cowhide and animal prints. Jute and cotton slings in the colours of the earth have been embellished with ethnic decorations, made with the technique of the heat transfer. These raw materials were worked with threaded and braided leather thongs and staples with platings in the warm colours of the earth. Geometrical designs with wood sewn stones and cabochons in the colours of the gems refer to the abundance of the terrestrial world. There are no lack of seams, padding and laser engravings to make the textures of the earth element.
